Wicked Winterfrost

Posted in Moldova by talikas on October 12, 2009

Regards from Chişinău, the capital of Moldova! The streets remind me Voronezh, the language Italian and the people are so nice and hospitable that might even beat the Mongolian warm welcome (no, no, of course, I know, nothing can beat Mongolian hospitality…). Otherwise it all seems very Soviet, the girl in the bar wears an ultra-mini-skirt, people smoke their Malboros in dark over-decorated cellar-restaurants, the gentleman in the lecture refuses to take off his leather jacket and local guys try to hit on foreign girls by randomly asking “A ty, gavarish po ruskii?”. No pictures so far because when I leave the hotel, it is still dark, and when I return from the training course, it’s again dark… I’m slowly getting to know the “pleasures” of business travel.
