Wicked Winterfrost

4 x Good Food

Posted in Bulgaria, India, Turkey by talikas on September 12, 2010

Volcanic ash breakfast in Istanbul, Turkey. Loving the cheese, olives and the very tasty red paste.

Eating with hands (how else?) the delicious breakfast in Allepy, India with local workers.

The fanciest lunch of the trip served on a banana leaf on a rocking house boat somewhere in the Kerala canals.

Ad hoc picnic in Sofia, Bulgaria. After the culture festival and before getting to know the local night life.

Kerala House Boat, Welcoming Locals & Crazy Eyes

Posted in India by talikas on August 30, 2010

Undoubtedly the biggest tourist attraction in the Kerala region is the house boat trip. For a little fortune you can get a 24-hour boat trip with a full time cook and captain on board. The size and comfort of the boat depends on the price you’re willing to pay. Our boat was by faaaaaar the smallest and slowest on the canals, but still a very cute one. We stayed the night in a small village and slept in the boat with a couple of thousand mosquitoes and a big thunderstorm.

Goa Beach: the +40C Heat Continues

Posted in India by talikas on June 4, 2010

Selline mõnus-kuum-niiske murevaba mainstream puhkus, kuigi rannarestoranides käimine hakkas pika peale rahakotile…
